central locking

hi guys i am fitting an alarm to my 2001 cupra but i am having great difficulty locating the cars locking wires can anyone give me the location please and whether it is 1 wire resistive or positive multipoint or negative

would it not be easier to take the door card off and have a look at the wires going to the mechanism?

i've tried that and no joy
i can get it to lock and unlock but it is not correct the lock wire is negative yet to get the unlock to work i have had to wire that wire via a relay to swap it to positive but it also
needs a 3 second unlock pulse which ihe have done however when i unlock it the windows drop down because of the extended lock pulse
my alarm supplier (clifford i am an insurance approved fitter and have been for 15 years) have given me the previously mentioned types and locations but none of them match
