aye i read that
is the control unit attached to underside of dash near dials ?

what does it look like?

small box 2 lots of wiring coming out of it iirc

i would test your car with a known working remote or test your remote on a working car to make sure as it usually battery/coding/remote nevert yet seen a control unit need replacing

I'm having exactly the same problem, just randomly happened last week, opened ok but when I tried to lock it, nothing.... :( keep me updated if anyone has found what it is, as iv tried all the posted methods with no joy

Cheers

try the coding a few times using different buttons and letting the lights settle down on teh dash too

can take a few goes sometimes

i heve the same problem, when i close the car all the doors are closed, but when i open the doors with my remote the driver side door opens but the passenger door is still locked.
the strange thing is, when i push the central door opening button the door opens..
