Centre silencer from leon, golf etc.

Hi all,

I have decided to remove the centre silencer from the exhaust to give myself a bit of a better noise on the cheap. I am going to cut out the centre silencer and weld in a bit of straight pipe. My question is, does anybody know if I can use the centre silencer section from any other cars, like the bora, leon, golf, etc.

It is a MK2 1.8 20v N/A (AGN).

diesel models don't have center box only straight pipe try one of those

Good man yourself, ill have a look now to see if its the same flange and diameter.
