changing rear brakes??

Im in the process of changing the brakes on my cupra

Does the huge star nut on the hub have to be removed to get the disc off??

Discs are in such poor condition i cant tell how they come off

no mate i done mine last month front and rear and they look like they are joint but you might have a little screw or like mine nothing but a bit of rust holding them on, so i gave them a gentle tap with a rubber mallet and they come off very easy to do , this is on the front yeah ..

i had spacers on my car so i couldnt see the grub screw on the disc lol
