I went for ebay specials, from the uk. Heres hoping they last cause its not a job I want to be doing often. They have a 1 year garuntee so heres hoping they are reliable enough and not shite

Changing them is a 2 minute job, once you've done one it's easy peasy lemon squeazy!! :)

Different story when the whole light fitting decides to come free and go inside the rear bumper, meaning a bumper off job, typical it was the 2nd one after Id done the first one ok. Superglued in place now though so heres hoping its nae moving

as promised, just a lil later...

you may need ones with the resistors build in (search can-bus or error free), i do on my leon, i have ordered these link
i will post pics when they arrive

I don't think you need canbus on an ibiza, they don't have any bulb blown warning lights! haha

did you turn them 180 ?

you'll need 36/38mm festoon led...make sure you get a pair with glass casing (like a normal bulb) as a lot of water get chucked up at the reg lights and the 'cheap' design ones will blow quickly.

here's what i have: *bay #300593420393 or #330549696635

difference is either 4 or 6 led bulbs, but these will last longer and WILL work. no need for canbus on the mk4's

a quick comparison
as you can see, new on the left is bright white, old one is orange/yellow

Hi
I have recently bought an ibiza 2004 FR. My first car and I've no clue on any car DIY. I tried changing the number plate bulbs but couldn't manage to take the sense out. In fact, I think I have broke and pushed the clip into the bumper.

Cn anyone help or show me how to change the bulb. I tried doing what it says on this forum but I just ended up breaking the clip:(

Thanks
