Changing the date on the onboard computer

Hi people,

Getting a little annoyed now as i cant seem to find any way of changing the date on the onboard computer, is it because i have an aftermarket headunit below it & there were controls there to change it??? I've tried looking in the manual etc..

isnt it part of the clock? dont have my car with me to check but dont you press and hold the clock until it flashes and then move it onto the date...

yes if you have had a hole cut in your control pannel and slid a aftermarket head unit put in, the programme button has been removed which is used to change date and time, if hooch did it like he did mine he ran two wires down i bought a switch and mounted it somewhere in the dash, you need to ask the previous owner if he installed a button or switch which replaces your program button on your oem control panel

Oh man thats gotta suck. You might want to start stripping the dash to see if you have the wires there.
