Charge pipe to turbo rubber pipe

When doing the KO3s conversion you will find your rubber pipe on top of the turbo will pop off under load, very annoying.

The reason for this is the standard rubber pipe is for the KO3 turbo, and is too big for the KO3S turbo.

Forge charge ALOT for such a small piece of pipe.

However, SFS, do a reducer pipe which is a much better fit, and silicone so has more give, thus a better fit.

I got mine from Traxs from them for £12!

So just a heads up guys, dont pay £50? From Forge. Contact SFS performance and see what they can do for you.

is the SFS pipe hi-temp silicon like the forge one?

or is it lower quality.... and less heat resistant.

considering that it's stuck right above the exhaust manifold & turbo... you might want to consider why they make a hi-temp pipe for this EXACT application.

I bought one from forge listed as a 54 - 48 reducer, its not listed on their website anymore but was on a leaflet I had, it cost me £12 and has done the job fine.

To bring up an old thread, what size is the turbo side? Don't wanna go out in the dark (scared of the dark lol ;) )

Because noguts is saying its 48mm and DPJ is saying its 51mm. Quite a difference imo...?
