Well, as far as I know, the Fabia cloned/cheapened some elements of the A2 suspension design, then VW used the Skoda design on the Polo 9N and then Seat used it in the Ibiza 6L. So that does not sound quite as good as first thought! Think of the nasty early ARBs, think of the breaking springs, think of the failing front hub bearings - oh and think about the strangely soft metals used on the hubs and TRE - ahhhh that's Skoda for you! Oh and yes when you go to buy most of these suspension parts when you need to, you will find made in CZ proudly printed on the labels. Good try VAG, but at this price not good enough!

I have a set of Spax RSX coilovers fitted yo my ibiza cupra TDI. basically the misses is giving me hassle because i have to drive at 2mph over speed bumps lol.

they are only about a month old maybe 6 weeks. before i know for sure i will have a word with Ben at AMD about transfering the warrenty over to the new owner but if i do decide to seell do you want me to drop you a pm?

basic information is fully height adjustable suspension with added Dampner Adjuster feature.

im off to Glasgow again this week so internet access is a little hard and hopefully fixing my brakes at the weekend so will be having the chat with the misses then,

Thanks

Lee

The actual chassis of the a2 is very different to the ibiza/polo/fabia. Infact it's different to most cars. It uses an aluminium space frame. Was years ahead of it's time and abit of a flop. Would sell like hot cakes now a days I reckon tho.

Yes that's true but it was aimed at a very different market - BTW it has aluminium TCA and because of that, the front bush can be replaced. Skoda etc were aiming their small car into a cheaper market segment so had to change things a bit.
