No, my mind has not been made up guys- thats a superb offer. i have actually tried to contact Bell at york, Pm'd the guys there, but no reply. I'd hoped for something closer to my home in South Yorks. Seeing as the offer you have is so good, and your rep second to none, i'll be in touch by phone later today. I'm willing to travel for quality at that price.

I have a chipboost remap and the bloke does own SEAT's. He had a Mk4 Ibiza Cupra at 192bhp when I went, now he has a Mk2 Leon FR.

He's alright and prices are cheap - my figure in my sig isn't since I had it re-remapped by him so need to find out. But he's a genuine bloke.

Done my uncles A4 estate too and he's really happy with it.

Picked up my new mk3 cupra on saturday (will make a thread)

Anybody used ChipBoost before? I contacted them about getting my cupra mapped and this is their reply

"Yes i can remap the 156 engine. Power is likely to be improved to around 190 BHP and 260 NM torque.
The work includes a full before and after diagnostic check. The ebay price is £150 based on you travelling to us near Scarborough, North Yorkshire."

i live in scarborough and ive never heard of this chip boost place, where abouts is it, and i'll do a bit of investigating if you want, if they claim they can get more than 5bhp out of my 1.6 sport then they blatantly dont know what they are doing!!

its out at staxton, theres nowt much round there just a few houses and a petrol station, so it must be in the midst iof them somewhere, there are a fair few tractors out there like on the pics though lol!

I have heard of them, they were on my website some time ago, the website does look pretty crappy and to be honest i haven't heard a great deal about them, i think the owners name is James (not that that gives you any useful info).

Performance Torque are a tuning company I would highly recommend though! I have met Will and spoken on the phone on a couple of occasions, his knowledge is second to none. The unit he works from is very impressive with a rolling road.

But for £150 i wouldn't go for it! Put it this way, my car was bought for 12k, so I wouldn't trust something for £150.
