Chome mirror covers on zenith FR

As it was such a nice day I thought I'd take some pics

Looks good Greytop, it was a toss up between zenith and red, went for red but that looks good. Think the chrome looks better on Zenith grey, makes them stand out more.

Thanks guys, yes I wasn't sure whether the chrome covers would suit but now they have been on for a couple of months I think they work well with zenith grey.

does anyone know if the addition of chrome wing mirrors should affect insurance? my current insurer was a bit funny when i mentioned it to them?

They're not real chrome though. I'd probably not have mentioned it. But if you do just say you've got some plastic mirror covers (which is the truth)

Its a case of flicking off the old ones and clicking in the new ones.

Re. Insurance as far as I'm concerned they are plastic replacement door mirror covers from the original manufacturer Not worth mentioning IMO

I wouldnt bother mentioning them, they're hardly performance enhancing, one thing that worries me, plastic thats chromed, after a few years, it wears thin and shows the plastic underneath, i remember toys when i was a kid doing this, flipside, £40 the pair not expensive!!!

Just keep the old ones and can put them back on if you want..

yer, im not planning on getting chrome as i got a Luna Grey, dont think chrome mirrors will match, maybe a photoshop job is req. but on the other hand, the silver the mirror covers are in isnt the same as the Luna grey on the metalwork, WTF is that all about

Grey top those pics have definately proved that I have taste in going for the zenith grey myself, those mirrors dont look to bad either with the chrome. You may of started something......

As I am back to the dealers tomorrow (paying my deposit because the credit card machine was out)... I have a pair to pick up tomorrow. They will stick them on for me while I am there.

Btw.. picked up my zenith grey today. OMG... I LOVE this car!
