yeah that is what you do to program the remote locking only, when you try and start the engine the imobiliser cuts in and it wont start. I tried it when i got mine.
Just sorted the rear washer issue, as most Mk4 Ibiza owners have. Popped off to the left of the battery in the engine bay. After 2 months, I have a working rear washer!
Oh, no, I haven't ever used PIAA bulbs. I was recommended a set off eBay by a member from SCN who had a good set (meant to be pure white), however I was sent a pair that was very yellow (more so than OEM bulbs!).
So after reconnecting the rear washer pipe in the engine bay, it popped in the blimmin boot! Spent my evening in the boot, removing the boot lining and removing panels. Eventually fixed.
New Nilfisk pressure washer arrived last week, as well as 5litres of Autobrite Magifoam. The snow foam lance is supposed to be delivered Monday, so looking forward to snow fun
Will be having a clean car from now on; bad weather is not an excuse. Spray on, have a cuppa, rinse off
CAR CLEANED! After 2 months of dirt and grit, it's sorted

Next did a handwash (2BM) with Zymol shampoo, then rinsed with the pressure washer and dried using a large waffle drying towel and chamois leather to get the drips from the door shuts and clear up any remaining water.
Next, polished all the exterior with AG Super Resin Polish, then applied AG Extra Gloss Protection (cured for one hour). Tyre shine and wax were applied to the wheels, then vinyl care for all the trim and rubber. All buffed off and looking shiny.
Interior was vacuumed and cleaned the mats. Used the 'great white sponge' for the interior, and everything is now spick and span. Oh and don't forget the 'new car smell' AG Autofresh spray
Also finally debadged the back! Say goodbye to the I B I Z A!
Looks shiney, i did mine on saturday using the same AG SRP and Extra gloss protection and clayed as well. Felt silky smooth at the time but now its filthy again from going to work Trying to sell a car and keep it clean is hard work!
