Citroen Front Jet Misters....?

Hi,

Did a seach, to no avail.. A while ago someone posted about possible mods to be made to the washer jets, using some Citroen parts to make them mist the water/detergent on spray.

My passenger one is blocked, so could do with something new...

Anyone done this?

Did it work well?

Easy to do?

Yes, its fairly easy just a bit of trimming and they clip in and work very well.

what citroen do they come off as it muct be cheap and one of mine id dodgy too.

I use these jets for my intercooler water spray, never thought of actually using them as washer jets

I had the mist jets on my old Fabia. IMO they were ****. Much prefer the normal ones on the Leon...

Sorry for thread ressurection.

So do I just need to trim these down abit to fit? The leon ones are longer than the Citroen ones by quite abit.

Yeah they are shorter and you will be left with a small gap, the trimming is needed on the sides of the jet.

does the mist hit your screen properly on these? i had them on my 106 and as they arnt adjustable it just fired them at the bottom of the windscreen and were next to useless.

Mine hit in the middle of the screen and are 100% better than the OE ones, but they don't appear to be adjustable, it may just be that they are mounted in a better position on the Leon.

other halfs golf has mister / fan jets

Mk4 Ibiza has the Fan jets - I like them compared to the two blobs of water that end up with the Leon washer jets.
