Hi Guys

Had my Leon 1.8T a few weeks now and noticed a clicking noise.

It comes from the front left wheel area and is only noticeable when turning on/off lock when I increase throttle at low speeds. The noise is also speed related (quicker the faster I go)

Have been into a large car parks and driven at constant speed when turning on / off steering lock and the problem isn't there.

Any tips ?

Have you checked to see if you have anything stuck to your brake disc?
What about something fowling the wheel like the brake pad wear indicator wire?
How about the stone guard behind the disc, mine usually gets a bit bent when changing discs and in that area.

My bet its the cv joint. Mine is clicking and needs changing. There is a thread on here about it me thinks.

But usually a CV joint will make a noise when on full lock and driven slowly forward or in reverse.
The above's car doesn't do this

Sorry for no reply's. Just back from a 2 week holiday.

Will take car to local garage on weekend and see if they can diagnose.

Will submit their opinion when checked.

mine did this, as you mentioned it was the left... check that your brake pad sensor and ABS sensor cables are not contacting anywhere... mine wore through
