Clicking sound on reverse

strange 'click' .. more so when reversing under accelerateration.. seems quiter if I lift my foot off..

anyone any ideas?

seems more prominent from the left side if its of any significance?
mightbe discs but wouldnt that be on braking more?

did you ever work out what the clicking is? i seem to have that problems at the moment.

seems possibly Gearbox related, if Im reversing in gear, it clicks (even when Clutch depressed)
but out of gear, It doesnt do it??!?!

Sounds like my Golf gearbox tho the click is pretty loud. no idea whats cuasing it other than it may need a n other box at some point

Yeah sounds a bit like mine, got to pop into the local garage tomorrow so will ask there, see if they had anything in like it

try stopping first - then select reverse sorry only kidding

i gather its a repeating noise?

change with speed ?
