Climate Control Fault

Hi I am looking at buying a second hand Ibiza 1.4 S on a Y plate. Only one problem with the car is that its climate control is contanly blowing hot air and the control panel does not let me change the fan speed or temperature setting.
Does anyone know what this is likely to be or how much it may cost to fix?

its disconnected from behind the unit by the sounds of it. basically if theres no power going to it, i found that it just blow air out.

its either the power, or the connections behind the screen that aren't plugged in.

where abouts do you live? could have a look at it ifs its close

HI thanks for the info. The display does show other information regarding the aircon but will not let me change the temp or fan speeds. The push button system/panel may be faulty but I wil check the cables.
