clock bulbs

hi i was wondering where i could get new clock illuminator bulbs. i dont like the orange dull colour thats there now. Its a 1.4 sport model

i found some golf mk 3 ones but there 100 quid!

all you want is 7 led bulbs, 509ts replace with standard ones, choose colour ect....when dials are out, remove orange plastic film, and they wil produce the colour you have choosen

i cant seem to get the bulbs out of their little holders ?

can i buy new holders for the new bulbs? lol

crezz is just one of the many helpfull bunch in the mk2 section. we all help each other out and we get each other out of the sh^t as and when.

the bulbs should just twist one way then pull out, i take it you have the clocks out now then?

I bought 8 509t bulbs and replaced the way that Crezz said on his post. Is pretty simple really.

Like athers said, we all help each other out as and when is required.

erm no i kinda got dragged into sunday club and im now drunk lol. 2 days off tho next week so it will deffo get done then. got some gti clocks off ebay to go in too

I got my GTi dials in there 2 days ago. they look awesome.
Still need to get my Ignition lights working..

Can you buy the Holders for the Bulbs anywhere?
Ives notice i only 4 bulbs in my Ignition lights..

Oh and can someone explain why i have 2 ABS lights?

is the speedo accurate seen as 1.4 clocks only goto 120 and gti ones goto 140?

i dont see the point in putting in the full clocks. you should just buy the dials on ebay, very easily fitted. i'll get pics up of mine later.
