CLS Clutch

Haven't seen anything about this in the 1.4 Mk2 section... so - I have had a new clutch and gearbox as you may know from my last thread. But - when I take off from 1st gear the car judders, same when I reverse. Obviously - I do give enough accelaration - so it's not on the verge of stalling or anything like that - it feels like the clutch. Anyone have any ideas? Or what I should do... it's pretty annoying at times!...

only when pulling off in 1st or reverse ?

give the engine a good shake and check the 3 mountings are ok

yeah only in 1st and reverse... My dad said it might be the clutch alignment? Make sense?

How news the clutch may just need a little bedding in time

erm I think the clutch was done before Christmas? And then the gearbox went in around Easter time - it's only since the both work togethor that it's been juddering really.

clutch is aligend or the box wont go back in.

Could be the wrong clutch, a warped/distorted clutch or flywheel. or mountings.
