TimD said:The TEIN's on my starlet gt did this, it was the pillowball top mount sticking, spent a good half an hour greasing that up and it was fine after that.
The bilsteins on mine make a slight noise every now and again, can't remember the last time they did it mind you.
It's just the spring coiling and then springing back on it's self.

As you turned the wheel you could see the bearing sticking, therefore loading the springs.
After half an hour of turning lock to lock with someone using spray grease in to the bearing it eventually free'd up.
