clutch given me stick

the clutch pedal seems to be sticking abit i mean there is play in the top but then clutch makes no noise, but when i let it spring all the way up it clicks loud when pressed down. the clutch seems to be fine and the pedal performs fine, just sticks at top bit

Have you checked that the pedal box isnt on its way out??

Look for any cracking etc on the section above the clutch pedal. May also be worth changing the clutch cable to see if that solves the problem.

Afraid to break it to you but it sounds like the start of the pedal box problem. Mine started off squeaking n i put a bit of wd40 on the clutch pedal moving joint etc and it stopped, but then a couple of weeks later the pedal box broke .

I would double check the pedal box just to make sure!

It might not be the pedal box, but im just saying/warning from my experience. Mine was squeaking abit so i sprayed some wd40 on it and it stopped. Then a few weeks later and my pedal box went for the first time. So honestly i would double check that!!

Yeah mine squeeks too. It always has. The pedal boxes are notorious for going on the mk2. Get it checked!!
