Clutch issue

This is a long one so hang in there lol.
So I had a Sachs clutch fitted 1 year and 5 months ago and the slave cylinder has gone, I got the performance clutch because I went to stage 1 and already had bad luck with OEM clutches ( another story lol). When my garage took my slave cylinder off they told me that it had failed. Now because the Sachs have a 2 year warranty period i went back to the company I bought the clutch from to ask what can be done, the company asked me to send the slave cylinder to them for inspection so I did. I have recently had a phone call from this company to say that they think there is no point in sending the slave cylinder to Sachs because its obvious that the slave cylinder has failed due to excessive heat ( they said from harsh launches and aggressive gear changes), they said the seals have melted and then exploded, they also said they have never seen this happen to a slave cylinder before so it must be my driving. Now i accept i drive the car fast and have had the occasional fast launch , testing 0-60 times but i don't drive like that all the time. I asked how comes people with the same car and same clutch who have taken there car on track has never had this happen to them, and they drive the car very fast and very aggressive on track, there reply was "it must be they way you are driving".
So I have uploaded pics of the slave cylinder and would like to get peoples opinion on what they think has caused the problem to the slave cylinder, also your opinions on how you think the company are handling it.
I feel like where is the loyalty from companies nowadays, it should be under warranty so surely replaced, but companies try to get away with having to pay out anything.

If it was a manufacturing defect it would be covered under warranty. The seals have melted due to excessive heat and that isn’t really Sachs problem as they don’t influence the circumstances you drive your car. You can ask the company to send it off under a warranty claim and you pay the postage and try your luck tho.

I have sent it off just to see what happens, I've already got a new clutch on the car so not to bothered about the result.
How do you get excessive heat?

Regarding excessive heat being transferred to the concentric slave cylinder, it's pretty much what (300bhpdaily) has mentioned in his post.

1) Weak defective untreated plastic of slave cylinder i.e faulty part or bad batch.

2) Ridding the clutch pedal too long in traffic.

3) No soft feel in pedal travel at it's top/rest position, can result in release bearing being pressured against clutch assembly too much.
Pedal should feel easy to depress not heavy and tight at top of pedal travel.

4) Aggressive driving too often resulting in excessive heat, can burn out clutch lining or weaken explode the springs in clutch pressure plate/flywheel, or rare cases damage the concentric slave cylinder.

5) Wrong clutch kit fitted (may still fit but will fail due to misalignment.

I think the plastic concentric slave cylinder is fitted to the VAG 6 speed gearboxes, 02M and 02Q
Part number is something like
0A5 141 671

I think Ford years ago had a few issues with the plastic slave cylinders melting, or the release bearing exploding, and something similar I'm sure I read somewhere happing to Lotus ?
Think they had a recall or upgraded the slave cylinder to alloy, due to the heat from clutch affecting the plastic one's.

Hopefully you'll hear back from them if you've given/sent off your old slave cylinder.

I definitely don't drive aggressively to much, no point as where I live most the roads are 60mph and open so if overtaking you don't need to drop gears to get past as road is open and quiet as I live in the country.
I would be shocked if it was fitted wrong but you never know.
My mechanic said he has never seen that happen to a slave cylinder because of aggressive driving, he has a race car and drives it aggressive and to its max everytime he drives it and he has never had a slave cylinder fail like that before.
Will just have to see what Sachs say.
If this happened to you guys what would you do?

Did you get any other damage to clutch?

Mine had a major failure. My warranty claim is with Sachs at present.

The brake fluid leaking onto the clutch plate has made it unusable
