Hi All,
Is there a way to shorten the clutch pedal distance ? mean can it be shorter ?
Thanks,
Asaf.

I would guess that since it is a hydraulic clutch system, that the answer is no! There does need to be some free movement so that the clutch plate release collar/sleeve is not held firmly against the clutch cover when the pedal is fully "up".

sucks... the movement is way too long..
Also I just saw that you were answering me in the UK-Polo forum about the Hayens :) lol ....

There's one way, there's a round piece of rubber where the clutch pedal hits I removed that piece and put 3 rubber pieces that you use on table and chair legs. I must say my shifts are now smoother and faster, it shortened the pedal travel as the clutch grabs at the top. You should try.

Doesn't it interfere with the ignition process?
Can you take a picture of the location where you install it and the rubber piece ?
Thanks.

No, it doesn't, it's a matter of adjusting the amount of rubber pieces so there is still some room so the clutch fully disengages.
I will take a picture.

Here it is.

There's a rubber piece plugged in that hole, you remove it. Then you can try whatever you want. There's people that put a bolt and then add washers to adjust the deadzone of the pedal, but in my case there's no thread so what i used is fine for me.

I just put the white ones but i'm not sure if i'll keep them as 2 of them are higher than 3 of the black ones. It's a test.

Hi apsol,
Are the black rubber and white plastic just glued to the surface or they have a pin ?
