Just began to drive off earlier this afternoon, felt a crunch and the clutch pedal broke and pushed all the way back.
A few pecies came off from underneath the pedal

Done a quick search. Found that a common problem these car have.
just wondering to fix this, how much will it cost for the replacment part?

heard some members just got some bolts and bolted it together. some welded.

Any suggestions guys. (Just had the pedal smack me in the lip, got a cut lip [:@] )

ive read something similar to this recently, white clip behind the clutch pedal that connects to the rod that goes into the pedal box, ill go find the thread now.....

i think the clip is cheap, labour to do the work if you cant do the welding yourself will vary greatly
im keeping an eye on mine after i had a code relating to the clutch pedal switch-but i still have no idea what it meant!

Happened to me mate . got to take out the clutch pedal , 1 bolt and a very big spring then get some one to weld a small plate over the end or buy a new pedal but i thought that if i did that it would just happen again. so got it welded then just refit(compress spring and hold compressed with cable ties ) i also had to take off lower dash

Just dis assembled the dash.

Was hoping the two clips were broken, instead of find the pedal had some metal missing on the end where the rod sits in.

does this mean i need a new pedel?

Just order another part from seat delaers as this is dealer part only.
Part Number B1J2721319C FOR £20.46 (INC VAT). This is the whole pedal arm.

This was PITH to take off espcially the spring behind it!
