Coil Springs

Driving to work earlier, goes over the speed bump on the enterance to the store, twang, followed by a bang, oh **** i thought, bang, pulls up, looks under the car, nothing, puts wheel on full lock, looks at spring, broken on drivers side.

does anyone have a price/part number for coil springs?

I have a list here. I think it would be 6K0 411 105 X where 'X ' depends on your engine code and model.

I seem to remember this happening last year when it was cold - a whole load of ppl's springs snapped

yep common problem along with a few others just get so cold turn brittle snap when under alot of extra load! cant tempt you in getting some lowering springs or maybe even coilies

it's as good an excuse as any to lower it!
