Coilpack problem

im stuck lol , my mk 3 cupra was running on 3 soo i decided to change the offending coil pack , stiil didnt solve the problem, was still running on 3 . went to move it from my drive way out onto the street and it startd running even worse then died and now it wont fire ,
i am borrowing a diog machine thursday night to try and get to the bottom of it .

am i right in thinkin that all the coil packs have decided to give up or do i have a bigger problem ? any help or suggestions would b reallllllllly goood lol thanx guys

Could be a mix of things really.

Whenever iv had that problem with any of my cars iv always replaced all four plugs & coils.

Could be the wiring to the coilpacks maybe?

if the car goes down to two coils, it's not uncommon for the car not to like it and cut out. swap all four out IF vag com shows a coil fault.

Have you checked the other coil packs?
