Coin Pot?

Hi guys, im new here and ive had a search on the forums but cant find anything...

Ive just got myself an '06 Leon FR 170bhp 1.9TDI.... Well i love it to pieces its fantastic and so quick compared to my old Octavia...

Anyway I noticed there is nowhere to put any loose change/coins?

Ive seen a couple of 'pots' on ebay with a lid that fits into the hole in front of the gear stick... But i cant actually find any to buy?

The ones on ebay had already finished so i cant buy them now, but i cant source another one anywhere else...

Anybody got any ideas on where i can get my hands on one. Im assuming it can be used as an ash tray/pot as well.

It would have come from the factory with one, mine did. If you bought it from the original owner, try asking him if he's still got it tucked away somewhere, forgotten.

If you have the original armrest there is a coin tray inside it which is actually covering the pair of cup-holders underneath.

Welcome to the forums.

Stating the obvious though, think you'll find your "Leon FR 170bhp" has a 2.0 TDi engine, not 1.9 that you mention (bet it took a while to convince the Insurance company.. yeah, honest, its only a 1.9 Diesel)?

Loose change mate, dont want it on show... Never know who might break in for £5 worth of change now days.

or just use some tesco value plastic cup .. it has the same effect.
I found the ashtray not that useful for coins or iphone charging cable ..

ahh i see, i just keep mine in cup holder and have a trident splash ball full of chewing gum on top of it, fits a treat
