Im running a autobahn88 tip and its perfectly fine, would recommend them to anyone. It a 4ply thickness, same as a forge or samco item.

They all do the same job.

Yep I've got a couple of Autobahn88 pipes [not TIP] and there no different to my Forge pipes in terms of build.

Well well well. I don't know whether to feel stupid or ecstatic....

IT WORKS!!!! The ali pipe was pushed right up against the top bit of the cone filter inside the induction kit, which was why it was suffocating the TIP gasping for air.

I take back all I said about the Autobahn TIPs :cartman: At least this problem gave me an excuse to buy a N75J valve hehe

Top banana everyone who posted

Now I don't have to replace my FMIC or my TIP, or pay for diagnostics (had to cancel the last booking with Mids VW)

haha! I will have fun at the PTM show Santa Pod this weekend now :D

Thanks everyone :D It was just complete luck that I asked my mate to rev the car, I wanted to listen out for leaks then I noticed this big blue piece of silicon suckin itself in like a lung :cartman:

If it was doing that on idle revs then I dread to think how restrictive it was when under load.

My car has lost approx 200 Kgs from its OEM weight.
If you stripped out similar weight and and good traction, I had on R888's, you could be getting 14 dead.

I'm still only 209 ft-lbs

The rear bench, spare wheel and under floor nomex/fire proof matting weights heaps.

Spare wheel is 20 Kgs
Rear bench and seat backs weight about 30 Kgs
Passengers seat about 15 kgs

These are very easy to get rid of and replace if needed.
Don't take passengers, have as little fuel as possible same with screen wash.

Front tyres at 25 PSI rear at 40 PSI

I was at GTI spring fest few weeks ago at pod, fastest 2 leons I saw run were Butch's 400bhp monster and a pre facelift yellow cupra.....these both run mid 13's [I think]

Most Leons ran 14-15.5 I don't think there very well suited to the 1/4 mile [gearing?]
