Companies which can "tweak" PD130 injectors?

Some of you may have spotted I have a set of pd130 injectors going on Ebay at the moment, and in the for sale section. However, since putting them on I've been thinking of the potential of getting them tweaked myself, rather than selling them complete and using the £££ to put toward the Allard set.... Like that will happen - I'll end up blowing it on booze. :cartman:

So, is there someone I can approach whom I could send these injectors to, with a fat cheque and they'll do the work required to turn them into the race injectors? Would be nice even if it cost me £200/£300. While I have a spare set I need not be carless while the injectors are away being fiddled with. [B)]

Anyone know anything about TDI injector tweaking? I should imagine PD injector tweaking is something a little special?

The drive for more power continues. :funk:

Micky - if you or I find anywhere - we'll go in for a group buy to see if we can get a discount. ;)

sounds a good plan, but being honest though maybe the max power that we get from the original injectors would be the limit for the engine as in my case reliability would be a priority as i do nearly 1k a week.

However, i would experiment with a cam modification for just that little bit extra as i now have one to play with ...... anyone any thoughts on the cam?

May be worth contacting VanAaken, I used their modified injectors on a non PD TDI and they must have contacts and suppliers that they speak to which may be able to provide PD injector modifications.

Worth a call at least www.vanaaken.com

Plus they are usually willing to talk deals and discounts

Long story, but I had some paperwork for work overdue, spent about three hours doing that Sunday morning, just about to abandon it for lunch and VAG meet when my Dad phoned on his way back from Gatwick - he'd been visiting my stepbrother in 0Z for five weeks, asked if he could drop by on his way past. Could hardly say no could I(!) so that took up the rest of the afternoon until I went to work at tea time. One sunday gone in a flash. Ironic really as that's the only Sunday I've had anything on since Christmas and the last one I've got anything on until April  .

prc has performance cams on, try and ask him.
devon, there should be more than one thread on modded injectors, try doin a search,,,

I've gone back to September last year and found no names. All thats comes up is Allards can supply them - nothing about any other companies which can do the work for me. Maybe my search criterion were wrong.

Was given a contact via PM, but their email addresses chucked back at me - so not sure what to do about them. :(

Well, looks like Kerma are coming up trumps at the moment. Will keep this thread info'd with progress, but I don't expect my injectors to be on Ebay this time tomorrow. ;)

I tried to contact bosio quite a few times but their site is ****, they won't reply to mail and won't answer to the phone number they got on the site really. can try a lil more if you're interested,,, this would mean bypassing kerma and gettin them straight from the manufacturer,,,
btw, may I know why you won't use the allards' injectors?

Just cost. Nothing more. :) I can save more than 50%, even with shipping costs to the US. :)

I trust Allards very much - wouldn't be using their turbo and FMIC if I wasn't happy with them. I just don't like paying over £250 an injector.

Guys I know a company that may be able to help:D The contact was provided by an old friend that does race conversions in the 4x4 market in Derbyshire. He has dealt with this company on may occasions. I was in discussions with thier Technical Manager today about 130 injectors and race ones. The company races trucks and is a deisel specialist. To help him, he wanted to get hold of the Bosch part numbers for the injectors eg 100/130, which will help him. I said I would give him a bell tomorrow if I could source these numbers.

Harveys diesel services in Stirling can do it,
have you thought off LPG as another option to off load the std injectors.
Harveys increased my flow rate by 18%.
Will dig out details.
