its as if they've just taken a set of the petrol engined ones and marked them up for the diesel, then i'm guessing the diesel lump weighs more than the petrol lump and this has caused this issue????

That's the conclusion I came to.

My car is about as low as the lowered Cupra on those pics, and it's only about half way down the coil! Shame the back is still high though :(
 
Since I met up with John and Andy I've had a rethink about changing to coilovers. I was a witness to a fairly serious crash and tbh it put me right off driving for a bit. But I'm back on it now but still doubt I'll justify the cash for coilovers - the car is just so much bloody fun as standard (and don't anyone offer me a shot of their coilovered Ibiza cos that would just make me want them again!) - I'm happy with what I've got.
