Connections for MP3 Player (Not an Ipod)

I know this has been discussed on other threads but can anyone provide a definitive answer to whether I can obtain a connection that will allow me to plug an MP3 player (Logik 1gb ....not an Ipod) to theMP3 compatible head unit on myLeon TDI Sport:confused:

I was convinced I had seen some information saying that there is a USB connetor that can be fitted under the drivers seat to allow an MP3 Player to be connected. My car is now due to have its 10,000 mile first service and I was hoping to have it fitted then but when I contacted Thompson & Thompson they said that the connections available are for Ipods only:confused:

If anyone knows of the connection or has had it done I would be interested to hear from you

i have been searching but can only find the Ipod Seat connection so far, now my ipod has become redundant as i think £95 is a bit steep. and cant get my mp3 file cd's to work on my h/unit, so it been plain old cd's for the last 2 months.which is a pain.

if you have an AUX in socket you can get a cable which you will be able to connect your mp3 to it with.
