Convenience Module Kaput?

Hi folks, got a weird problem with my central locking.

If I open the passenger door, the indicators flash, the unlock function happens and if the ignition is off the windows wind themselves down.

I've put vag-com on it and there are no fault codes registered.

I've also taken the battery off with no luck.

I think the convenience module is gone, anybody seen this before and able to confirm if it is gone.

Anyone any idea how much a new module would be and if I could fit it myself?

Is the convenience module responding on vag-com?

Check the earths.

Which earths? Under the battery?

think this is a common fault on a few of the newer VW's iirc.
