Converting to Non-Power Steering.

2 laps in three days doesn't sound good? Why so little? Surely you'd do 10 a day!!!

It's 97 euros for 4 laps so unless ya got loads a money.

As the weather was so good it was stupidly busy and when ya see what sort of cars go round the ring you start to think about things.

£2500 for a Armco 550 just to be recovered off the track. Going through German police. No real insurance so if you hit a GT3RS up the rear with the fancy exhaust its 11grand just for the exhaust that you'd have to pay which ruin most people's life's lol plus my steering was knocking badly haha

Other than that haha ill be doing more next year just being there watching is awesome ill upload pics on my thread soon

I know you get charged for what you hit... But it's a public toll road yes? So your insurance should cover you! It's not a track day so no slicks or actuall racing, and there's even busses on it!

If you hit Armco or a lamppost in this country, you will receive a bill from the council if you don't claim your insurance!!

97 euro for 4 laps... Hmmmm ok so maybe not ten a day...although sleeping in your car is free.. Could save money there.. And food isn't really required is it? Haha

check insurance because most in the small print exclude the ring!

on the PAS i loved my 205gti non pas so much better until you came to park lol

It's is a toll road but its classed as a track

My insuranced laughted when I asked if I'd be covered.

When you crash into another car they close the track and send a police man out to see what's what

If you spill oil or coolant and a motor bike crashes an gets killed its your fault aparrantly.

I only know what the owner of the hotel we stayed at said but then he was a driving instructor for the ring.

Haha i use a big lockup with 3 other mates and the funny thing is, most of the mess aint even mine.
Ill wait and find out how you get on then :)
I need to be sensibleish though as my car is family car soon haha

Haha I've been tempted to go into lock ups with a few mates but I do quite abit of repairs on the side and I know it would end up looking a mess and rent be down to me too sort and I'd wanna run the unit like a second business haha

I see ill still use my lot and don't think manual steering will effect the effort of driving it lol but I see what your saying. Will Your misses drive it? When's the baby day then?

Id love to try and do repairs in mine but its 40miles away from where i live now.

No the manual steering is feasable but just in general, cant go too mad with it, hence the engine build will probably take at least a year. Think it will just be a case of save up and order everything at once.
The baby is due 14th oct but judging by the misses it could be any week. She wont drive the car though, even if she had a license im keeping it haha.
