just quickly looking for a bit more info on fitting the tt short shifter! what is envolved? i dont suppose any one has any pics? is it just bolt off the old one bolt on the new one?

Basically yes just remove the old one and replace with the new one.

The one you've got is the correct one. Although when i ordered mine from audi that was an old part number. The one i got came with the plastic adjuster that fits on the ball joint. The hardest part of fitting was removing the old one. Should only take about 30mins to do.

Nah you don't need a ramp. All you need to do with yours is remove the adjuster (Circled red in pic) from your old one and attach it to the new one.

I found mine was on really tight so had to get to it from underneath the car, put it on axel stands (mine was already on them because of forge fmic fitting) and you can use an extention bar or something similar to tap it from underneath plus also take note of where the notch is on the gearbox thread as the shifter only goes on a set way

For the sidelights i'm using these:
