Coolant Temp Sensor

Hello guys

I'm after some advice , the engine management light has shown up on my 1.4 leon , i have had it checked out and the code had brought up the Coolant Temp Sensor , i have replaced this bit and it has not fixed the problem , i have also changed the thermostat and the front lambda sensor , the engine gets up to temperature fine and the car is drinking an excessive amount of fuel and is very rich from the exhaust......

Any Ideas on why the fuel consumption is so bad?

just wondered if you changed the right one or possiblya wiring issue to the same

Yeah the code is still up mate , if you rev the engine whilst the car is idle it will dissapear after a certain amount of time as the engine heats up , i changed the one at the right hand side of the engine just down from the cover
