Corbeau RRS with OMP runners and Sparco frames.

I have bought some Corbeau RRS seats from GSM and they supplied OMP runners with Sparco frames.

At checkout I was assured these would all fit, but garage is saying they need to drill holes which they're not happy about doing.

Has anyone else had these seats and runners etc? Tia

I used OMP frames etc and needed to modify things to get them to fit (very unimpressed with OMP gear).

Which part do they need to mod? Runners or frame?

Well I bought the whole lot from GSM but that was a very long time ago. I was told that Sparco frames with OMP runners would fit these seats in my car.

Well garage seem to think the runners will need new holes and because it obviously is a safety issue they aren't prepared to do it.

Just wanted to know if anyone else had this issue or they managed to get them to fit etc.

If there's no way to fit the runner only to the seat then my personal opinion is to get different runners.

If the runners fit the seat but then don't fit the frame then I'd modify the frame and use the highest grade hardware (usually 12.9) and the widest washers I can reasonably fit.

As for GSM... from what I've seen (I've bought one thing from them and wasn't in a hurry to buy anything else) and Internet research they can be hit or miss. May be worth contacting them to see if they'll help, if you don't ask n all that.
