Hi guys, I have a 1.6s Leon Mk1 - 2000 (W).

Can you tell me if this is the correct oil?

Castrol Magnatec Fully Synthetic 5W30 Engine Oil (4 Litre)

eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/engine-oils-and-car-fluids/engine-oil/car-oil-offers/?521771431&0&cc5_272

Can get it for around £16 near where I am, which is cheap!

I'm getting the car serviced on the weekend, and its previously had part synthetic in it, it shouldnt be a problem if I use fully synthethic now should it?

Thanks Liam. The website says that Castrol Edge is suitable but I think I've just found the answer to my question.

After looking at the Seat leon manual, it says:

A – synthetic oil VW 502 00 VW 500 00

The Castrol Magnatec on my link covers the VW 501.01 502.00 505.00 specifications, so in actual fact is also fine for the 1.6 Leon.
