Cost to Replace Front Disc Brakes and Pads

99 T plate, 1.9 TDi Vario Estate

Just quoted £148 to replace front discs and pads - is this the going rate, cheap or expensive? Not really got anywhere to do it myself and it is getting bl**dy cold so as long as not too excessive will be going for this.

sudnt be that much as disks + pads will cost most £40-50 and hours labout to do it.... if u buy bits ur self as garage to fit then cn only charge u labour

not long done the Ibiza ( same as the Vario) cost me £29 for disc's and £19.99 for pads. Nice and easy to replace but if a garge do it about 1 hours labour.
