nah, definately round the £4800 mark, for mint condition. 1L at your age, mileage are still at the £3500 mark, and glass's guide with adjustments says the £4800 mark! cheers nathan!

thanks for the replies guys, im thinking of selling it privately rather than p/x'ing it now. if i could get £4800 - £5000 i'd be happy.

ive not advetised it yet cause ive got a guy seeing what price he can get me for it as a part ex on a beetle. i'd still sell it if the price was right though.

love this car so much, i want a sport for my first car, but dont think ill be getting one just yet - colour definately suits it

ive been looking around a the majoriity of decent sports are 4-5k

You probably don't want to hear this,but i bought a '51 plate Sport on Friday with 24k and FSSH and paid £2950 for it..........................and it's mint!!!!

Get that price back upto £5,000 mate, and then maybe knock it down, dont start off low because of what other people say they have paid for similar ones or what some crap book says.
