What mods have you got done for run stage 2?? I've had a stage 1 revo on my CR170 for over a month now with no mods whatsoever, and I'm amazed with the results, but I NEED MORE POWER :D

Any recommendations??

DPF and possibly EGR removal will take you to a bit more power. Open up your exhaust and intake and Revo claims 220ish HP and 340ish lb/ft torque.

After that...you're in no-man's land.

Almost worth waiting a year or so for people like Darkside to properly sus out the CR170 engine.
They're working on an Ibiza CR at the moment I believe

Had a look on the revo site and they recommend uprated induction, intercooler, exhaust and clutch for stage 2. Any ideas if these things are really necessary?.. What have you got on yours??

Ah yes, clutch if you're on manual.

I've got DSG so all I did was DPF removed and remap. Not getting absolute peak figures, but I'm happy with the power/curve. Bit paranoid about the place that did mine and the state of my engine, but otherwise all is good. Pulls like a beast. And vs other powerful cars, I can confirm that it is quick.

As for the rest:
-Uprated induction: It's a diesel. Stock induction already pulls in more air than it needs. Waste of money in my opinion, and based on what I've read. You may gain a BIT of throttle response.

- Intercooler: I can't imagine this being necessary. One of those things that may be better for a cleaner burn, but overall at the specs stg2 runs it won't make a world of difference. Expensive. Mind...I haven't checked my EGTs, so I may crawl back on this one if mine are sky high.

- Exhaust: DPF needs to be removed. This allows you to run better oil, more suitable for the performance. And obviously it's the main constriction in the CR170. So there's definitely about 10-15hp gained here. Other than that, going full turbo-back won't make that much diff in my opinion. May get an extra few HP from going fully open and wide. Equivalent gains would be equivalent to the "power gained" from removing a baby seat from the car.

So yes, if you're chasing peak figures for the sake of figures... get it all.
If you want to run stg2 with good figures, just get rid of the DPF and uprate your clutch.

That's my (non)expert opinion :p
