Crappy black door strips

Is it possible to get the door strips and the bits that go round the bumpers in body colour instead of black?? LCRs are body coloured right?

If it is possible, are the strips available from the stealers painted?

no they are ordered in black then matched to the colour of your vehicle then painted at the dealer if you ask them.

you can get the door ones in primer. Part numbers are in the faq section.
Not sure about the bumper ones

Costs you a fortune to get the dealer to match them. I enquired about the ones for my Arosa an extra £30 per strip. Your easier to buy them black and get a local bodyshop to paint them for you. Be warned though, getting the old ones off are a pain in the bum !

I would just take the old ones off, get a local body shop to paint them for you. Why buy new ones?

because the black ones have a weird texture to them! And one of mine has been scraped (by the previous owner I might add!!)

I replased one of the black ones off the back door, cost about £15. I think the cupra ones come in primer so you dont have to have them painted by the dealer.
