Just a quick heads up for anybody contemplating buying one of these t.i.p's... Fitted mine today. It was a perfect fit, good quality and only took about half an hr without even going under the car! Taken it for a test drive... Very impressed with the results, pulls harder and definitely spools up quicker! 85 quid well spent..Would recommend to anyone!!

Anyone else had such good results from a cheaper tip like this one?

it must be easier to change on the R cos my LC was a TW@T.

i was forever under the car in the bonnet under the car over the bonnet etc etc


good skills though

Haha yeah it must be easier on the R then! The hardest bit was gettin the stupid clips off the old one without cutters!

I'm ordering some Creation hoses next week as their reviews are always good. Upper intercooler hoses for £70 vs Forge £150...I think so .

Yeah i was a bit wary at first with it being so much cheaper than the forge etc but its spot on! Glad i didnt spend the extra 50-60 quid on a forge!

LC's (Are the same as the Ibiza Cupra)
And I can confirm they are a twat to fit.

LCR's turbos alot easier to access (As far as a TIP goes.)

Another thumbs up from me. Just recently taken mine off and still looks in great shape. Noticeable improvement in driveability

Got mine a few months ago have noticed an improvement in drivability, but mine was difficult to fit I nearly gave in at 1 point. Worth the £85 tho

Like I said, have a look at my readers ride thread by clicking on my signature picture below, Quality is superb, I've been to their workshop, these TIP's have more ply's then Forge and at this price, I really don't know why anyone would purchase one from Forge..........

The only problem is u suddenly get a heavy right foot for a bit once uv fitted it n ur bloody fuel bill goes up lol!

Planning on getting the CM TIP and maybe the breather hoses for my LC. My Forge 007P turned up this morning also. I can see much fiddling around under the bonnet next weekend, with numerous cuts and grazes as a result. Secondary air pump fix is on the cards also.

Because people are brand wh0res. If something says Forge on it, even second hand, it'll sell like hot cakes as people want the name in their bay. Me personally, I go for function over form so any brand will do if it's proven .
