£1000 spent on a car isn't actually that bad. a set of decent tyres for 17"s, one parking ticket in London, and one speeding ticket (plus hike in premium due to the 3points) would all probably add up to a grand.

Did the Airbox intake pipe come as part of the hose kit from Samco or did you have to buy it separately?? Also, where did you get the blue HT leads form? Or are they the normal ones but sprayed blue??

samco intake pipe is part of the kit mig, and the plug leads were about £90 bought a while back, quad core apparently

Very true. Mine has sucked £1,500 or so from my bank account in 19 months - that's only replacement parts, MOT and a couple of hours labour.

car looks real tidy mate one of the best engine bays i have seen in a mk2.

fitted the grill i bought off you on the weekend. i had some fun removing the old one as it was plastic welded in or something like that.

just waiting on my wheels to turn up now. will post some pics up once they are on.
