its now been dropped off at the garage so they can start on it first thing wednesday morning or before if im lucky!

had chance to have a good old look at the old bits that came out, it seems there was more then meets the eye. where we thought it was just big end shells that had gone we were wrong. the main bearings were scored really badly and seemed quite an old score to! and the oil pump was fairly shagged too! quite chewed up!

i feel im going to notice a huge improvement!

stating the obvious i know but what im sayinmg is that it might not of been all that good whilst was ok in my hands! :)

as for e38 i would love to, never been to any shows before but its not going to be quite ready, not in a very clean state at the moment!

You better remember and remove the blue tissue before you completely put it back together

Do you think the oil pump could have caused it? It does sound like it played a part in it tbh, especially if it was fairly shagged.

It will be like a totally different car when you get it back and you drive it for the first time.

Engine looks sweet as Crezz. But with all these new internals, you will have to run it in like a new car. Lol, 3000miles without going over 4000rpm.............in a valver
