The cruise control warning light on the dashboard on my Altea does not illuminate when cruise control is activated. The dealer says that it has been disabled in the instrument panel, which I found rather hard to believe. Can anyone shed any light on this?
There has never been a light on mine. Never looked in the manual to see if it should have one. Works fine though, dont know how I ever managed without cruise control before.
Thanks for your reply. Manual says there should be one, but as long as it works that's all that matters. Obviously it has been deactivated as dealer said.
This is to do with models and * against them, this feature may not etc etc. I have no light, but mine now works again [cruise control] after it was repaired.
Thanks Klaus. That thread seems to make sense. Technician told me that the CC warning light is activated in the large multi-function display as discussed on that thread. Why not activate it on all MFDs, would make life simpler!
