This is the model i tried to swop some from, they definitely dont fit! Dont know if an older model will though???

hmmm dunno i dont fancy bodging golf ones dunno how you'd do that anyway, was it the plastic light bit that didnt fit or the rubber bit where the bulb goes in that wouldnt fit?

just reviving this thread as im getting some smoked side repeators, (everyone has clear ones!) that are listed as being for mk4 golf, bora, passat 97-, mk 4 polo 99-01 and mk 5 polo, the seller says they should fit but they would say that! Ill let people know if they fit or not!

They wont fit.

I popped the side repeaters off a mates MK4 golf to check the other day and they were the push fitment, not the twist fitment of the ibiza.

do you mean the bulbs were a twist, rashcupra says theyll fit but might have to bodge the bulb fitment bit. Did the lens itself fit or were they too big, if not theres some leon ones that might fit better maybe.

lenses fit! just cut the old wires and solder on the new! job done!
