Cupra ‘Goodwill’ Gift

Hi all. New to the forum. Owner of V2 facelift model Formentor.

Just wondered if anyone is aware of Cupra sending out gifts?

Received an email from DHL today advising they had picked up a parcel for me from a company called Simply Thank You. Checked the tracking to ensure it was legit and emailed the company who advised they were a corporate gifting company and one of their client - Cupra- had arranged to send a gesture of goodwill.

Well it arrived. Was a little hamper full of crisps, drinks, coffee, cakes, chocolates, jams and biscuits, came in a nice wee box wrapped with Cupra ribbon.

Totally unexpected and no idea why I got it, not going to complain though.

Had you complained to Cupra?

When I got my Leon Cupra a few years ago, there were delivery delays - and as well as some other compensation, they sent two hampers - including wine, food and some gifts for the children (they asked for their ages).

No complaints. Car arrived a week or so earlier than planned. Only had 1 little issue with a tail light warning light coming on intermittently and a little grinding noise from the brakes but they got it in and checked it and fixed it quickly.

Didn't even have any communication from them about it, first i knew of it was when i got a DHL shipment notice yesterday in my junk mail.

Nice little gesture from them. I've just ordered a Terramar to replace my Formentor. I could probably bet that I won't receive such a gift.
I'm hoping my collection will be a little more special this time than a dirty finger printed new car shoved in the car park when I collected my Formentor.

I got a similar gift a couple of weeks after my complaint was resolved. Seemed like a thank-you for patience more than anything, no need to chase them for it.

I've also received the message from DHL, picked up the Terramar last week - TBH I was impressed to get a full tank of fuel and a full handover. When I collected the barely used Ateca (9 months old, 1,453 miles) from Listers Cupra in Coventry I was just handed the keys and left to figure it out.

I guess delivery from DHL will be in the coming week.
