Motorway driving - the way ahead!

this. i got the computer reading 45.2 MPG earlier on a motorway run, im currently running the car on Total Excellium unleaded (97 RON). Best MPG iv seen the car return since owning it (6000 miles on clock).

I used to run the car on 95 (cheapest), but now because i get paid formileage in work, i can now fill up on any fuel i want . Tried momentum99 for a while and two tanks of V-Power and the car deffo felt better. Iv now moved away from these as nearest tesco filling station is 20 miles away and shell is 30 miles away (not a problem when travelling with work, but no way am i going to do a 40/60 mile round trip for fuel).

Im now running the car on Total Excellium (97 RON), mainly due to the fact the garage is directly behind our new offices in work. Will be sticking with it for the future me thinks.

Getting frustrated as filling up with Momentum is fine at home in Rugby with a Tesco 5 minutes away, up in the middle of nowhere Scotland the nearest garage selling proper fuel is 30 miles away!

this hasnt been updated for a while.

Last tank of fuel, Total Excellium 97ron and got.........350 MILES!!

was shocked, and thats not pottering around, driving to the limits on all roads. Although i think the increase is for a 30 mile journey to/from work all on A roads. Also not using alot of throttle / brakes anymore has helped alot....

My oil usage is very high and I think my fuel usage is higher than it should be too. Could this be a coincidence or a sign??

The best I've had is 39.1 MPG UK
That was also the most miles I did with one full tank 447 miles (fully vented to fit around 55 L of fuel)

My average though is 30.9 MPG over 28 fuel ups. Not the best but at every set of lights I do set off like I'm at the POD!
