Thanks for that, Scott. Perhaps if I quote that they might get the parts in beforehand, rather than me be without the car for 2 days. I won't hold my breath hoping, though!
Technology, eh? ;-) At least I won't be getting this particular issue, what with opting for the old fashioned DIY gearbox. Sounds like people aren't getting too much grief getting it sorted though.

Mine hasn't been sorted. I'm still refusing to give up my car for an entire day just to have the fault diagnosed!
Not sure about the PCP angle as its not a method I'd use to buy a car. However, what's to stop you trading the cupra in against a Golf R or S3 as it sounds to me that's what would have suited you better in the first place? Only pointing this out as it seems from your posts you aren't entirely happy with FWD traction on the cupra. I'm sure a dealer could sort out the finance situation. Pretty safe bet you will take a hit in the wallet though.Meanwhile, my saga continues...
I can't even be bothered to write about it, but let's just say I'm totallyoff with it all now. SUK - useless, dealer - less than useless!
Anyone have any tips for extracting oneself from a 3 month old PCP?
Fk me!!!! Anyone on here with a 280 Cupra DSG not had this problem????
Definitely not the thread I wanted to find having ordered mine last week. It's a SEAT UK stock car so likely to have been built June time.
Is this really just "a matter of time" until it happens?
Simonali - why is dropping a car off for a day such an issue?? Is it because you just want rid and don't want it fixed??
