I started a similar thread to this a couple of months back, however, at the time I seemed to be the only one. Since then a few others have made similar comments in other threads (i've copied and pasted below, I hope you guys don't mind) so i'm hoping a new thread might have a better chance of collating the information and potentially finding a fix.
There definitely seems to be an issue in the Cupra 280 (possibly only impacting manual boxes?) with a flat spot when between 2-3000 revs. I think there are some other minor flats spots outside of this range but they are hard to nail down as they come and go.

"Curious to know if anyone else has experienced this, there's a definite lumpy patch in the mapping at part throttle between 2-3000 revs. It's more noticeable in Comfort."
Nick
"The flat spot between 2000-3000 rpm is there in all modes but not always noticeable."
kazand
"And I thought it was just me ...... "
So with those guys and me that makes 4 of us who have noticed something isn't quite right.
Can anyone else that has felt similar please join the thread and add your experiences. Also, can the guys above confirm if they are manual or DSG. Thanks
