Long time no speak ppl!!

Spoke with T.Spark today, but just want a bit more confirmation before i do this.

I have standard Cupra Alloys, and want to put 225/45/R17's on them! Can i do this and is it safe?

i have 215 on mine and they sit on the rim just right, i think 225 will rub, but im not 100%

Cool I didn't think bigger ones wuold fit but I might go for some 215s when I have to change tyres

that what was on my comps and i trial fitted them and they rubbed lke fook on the front

yea 215 fitt fine on my cupra rims no rubbing at all

Id slam 225's on 17's...

Besides you have standard suspension, give it a go

or you could just fit the correct width/profile tyre that the manufacturer spent alot of money researching!!

unles your on different wheels/suspension, theres no point changing!

the arch lining i think but probably only on full lock
