cupra fr bumpers fitted to s

i've just fitted cupra fr bumpers to a tdi s.

Two problems have come to light

1-the s dosnt have fogs so i have holes,can i fit fogs ie are the wires anywhere in there.

2-the exhaust is no were to be seen from the back of the car,whats the easiest option/cheep fix.

anyone had these probs

The cheapest fix for your ehhaust is to cut the tail pipes off and weld on ones take fit your exhaust
The fogs are quite expensive and i doubt there would be wiring for them, you could run wires to a switch inside car but wouldn't bother to be honest
I've just removed mine from my LCR

You can buy a foglight kit from Seat for about £130.

The wiring is easy, you wire it into the O/S headlamp loom and fit a replacement light switch... put the clips in place and jobs done.

It's a doddle to fit, removing the bumper is the longest part but if you have done that already you should be OK.

WTF.....£130 for fog lights
I have never been in a situation where fog lights were of any use
But I'm too old to be driving about with these on

Look on eBay for "Leon Breaking" and see if you can get the fogs on their own - just to fill the gap.

If you want fog on their own to fill the gap you can have mine for nowt
One doesn't work and is cracked but from a short distance they look okay

seen some grills on ebay for cupra r with fake fog glass wonder if they do cupra?

how old is the leon ?? which MY yr.. as mine was a 2000 ie MY00 and the fogs werent that hard to sort....

re the exhaust ... well u could just get a stainless cat back system ....

i think you should take off the bumpers and give them to me coz i have fogs on my car.

LCR Grills & Fogs are different.

A backbox from a Cupra or FR will be a direct fit... the LCR one is slightly out of line.

The car is a 2002 tdi s,had a look under at the back box,it dosnt seem to have join at the axle.

are they one piece from the backbox to the cat?

If i get some fogs from a breakers can i buy the cables/switch from the dealer,or is it a case of me and a real of wire.

make sure you get the right fogs, FR and Cupra fogs are the same as the standard bumper'ed cars, FR+ and Cupra R fogs are totally different

i bought a tdi cupra exhaust, fitted perfect but just had to buy a exhaust clamp, its a pain in the ass job, you have to drop the rear away from the shocks just to get it off and the new one on
